Ashley Byard graduated from Columbus State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Education (Art: K-12), and loves to dabble in all sorts of creative adventures. She taught art in both public and private schools in Muscogee County for over 10 years.

Growing up she spent a lot of time on her grandparents’ dairy farm helping with chores, fishing, exploring, and building hay forts. Today she is a homeschool mama, co-leader of the IRL Homeschool Co-op, and freelance artist. She illustrates children’s books for the Georgia Council on Economic Education in Atlanta and does ocasional murals and pet portraits.

In her free time she enjoys gardening, baking, and learning to sew.
