Regular Programming

3rd Avenue Community Pollinator Garden

Planning, developing and tending our garden lot has become on of our major projects. Students are involved from the ground up to plan and implement the community garden vision learning along the way. Using regenerative agricultural practices, native planting, we are walking alongside community members committed to teaching our future stakeholders through working together. You can regularly find us in the garden collecting data, building, and growing.

Local Ecology | Stewardship and Education

Working together with local organizations doing good work on our river, students are able to learn firsthand about our local wildlife and plants and trees and how we can protect them for generations to come. Educating our kids on the long term affects of community actions on the environment builds lifelong stakeholders in its future.

Our exploratory and authentic approach to learning connects your child with the world around them. In real life, IRL, learning is interactive and driven by curiosity. We believe, everyone learns better when they are immersed and interested combined with real world applications. While we will host regular, experiential programming, we will also invite community organizations and individual experts to join from time to time to make the most of what Columbus and the surrounding area has to offer. We look forward to working with non-profits like Chattahoochee River Conservancy, Tree Columbus, Uptown Columbus, Inc, PAWS Humane, Mercy Med Farms, Conservation Connection, and more.
